Pt.1 What to Wear?

We kindly request black-tie optional attire for our wedding. This means you have the option to dress formally in black-tie attire, such as a tuxedo for men and an evening gown or formal cocktail dress for women. Alternatively, you can choose a formal dark suit for men and a sophisticated cocktail dress or dressy separates for women. We want you to feel comfortable while maintaining an elegant and refined atmosphere.

Colors to Avoid:

  • The bridal party is wearing ‘Olive’🫒 which is a rich warm green

  • Xiali will be transitioning into a Chinese bridal look after the ceremony, which will incorporate red and gold elements (In Chinese culture, red is a traditional color reserved for the bride/bride’s family)

  • Thank you for accommodating 🤍

Pt.2 What to Check Out in NYC?

Xiali was born in Hunan, located in the South of China. This gem offers authentic spicy Hunanese Cuisine in the city (which is hard to find). Her friend Junrui also completed the exquisite lighting design for this beautiful restaurant. Do reserve ahead.

A favorite of Jason's, Jing Fong, although no longer occupying one of the city's largest banquet halls, has been a staple dim-sum spot for decades. It offers the most wholesome NYC Chinatown experience that everyone needs to try.

For all the sweet tooths out there, this is the ultimate ice cream and sorbet maker. As the name suggests, it is quite literally a gelato lab with an extensive variety of flavors that will overwhelm you. See flavors
